Let’s Talk Vampire Ball - 2026
This will be our second year hosting the Vampire Ball, and we are beyond excited. Last year went better than anticipated, but we did notice a couple of faults that we are hoping to revamp and adjust.
We have many of our beloved vendors returning this year, and we are still waiting on confirmation from a few more. That being said, let’s talk Vampire Ball.
Vampire Ball 2026 Flyer
Vampire Ball with Rocky Horror:
I have been asked several times now if this year's Vampire Ball is Rocky Horror themed, and the short answer is no. The flyer does showcase both, but they are two separate events. The Vampire Ball will be in the Foothills Performing Arts Center’s Atrium (like last year), with the Rocky Horror Picture Show taking place in the Theater directly after. Although, to clarify. We will not be upset if there are several Tim Curry-esque divas running around. The ticket price will cover entry for both of these events!

Food for all:
One of the issues we had last year was that we ran out of food pretty early in the event. To be completely transparent, we did have a hard time planning for the food. We sold 24 pre-sale tickets, and ended up hosting over 8 times that many people. I did get food for 75 people, thinking we would have leftovers, but I was obviously mistaken. We will definitely be providing more food this year, but we do have one request: If you can buy pre-sale tickets, we would greatly appreciate it. Having a general idea of the number of guests is extremely helpful in planning this event.

Dance, baby. Dance:
Another piece of feedback we got last year was that there wasn’t enough dance music. We heard you and are on it! This year our DJ will be Geoff Doyle, and he has assured us that there will be plenty of dancible tracks in the mix. Geoff is not only my amazing partner, but has also been the DJ for many local events, including Pride Prom. So definitely come ready to party!

Bloody Valentine and Morgan - Vampire Ball 2025
It’s Drag, but not a drag:
We are so excited to be bringing Drag back to the Vampire Ball this year. The gorgeous Bloody Valentine will be returning, and it looks like she will be bringing Lilly Bola to host this year.
At the time of writing this post, I do not have confirmation on Lilly, but I will update when we know for sure.
Last year, Bloody Valentine and RJ the Goblin killed it with both their performances and costumes. I know they will bring that same skill and talent with them this year. If we are able to do enough fundraising, we would absolutely love to bring RJ back as well. We just want to ensure that we pay our performers well for their talent.
Tattoos and Tarot:
Both The Gothic Cottage and April of Written in the Stars Tarot will be returning this year. We loved having The Gothic Cottage join us last year, offering flash tattoos. The flash work they came up with for the event were stunning, and we can not wait to see what they come up with for this year.
April Rose has been working with us on events since we opened. We are incredibly lucky to have her joining us, and even luckier to call her a good friend. Her readings have always been scary accurate, and we regard her as one of the best tarot readers in the area. We highly recommend getting a reading from her while you’re enjoying the event this year.

Art Raffle:
Last year, the incredibly talented Branden Hurd gave us one of his original drawings to auction off during the event. This year, he created an original drawing specifically for the Vampire Ball.
This piece of art is currently being displayed in our shop. We are holding a raffle for it as a way to fundraise for the event. You can enter this raffle for $5 for one entry, or $20 for five entries. We will draw the winner at the end of the Vampire Ball. The winner does not need to be in attendance, but it would be really fun if they were.
We have this raffle set locally, but if you are out of the area, you can still enter. Just note that we will have to calculate shipping to send the piece to you if you win.
Event Merch?
We are currently playing with the idea of designing merchandise for this year's Vampire Ball and selling it during the event. We would love to have t-shirts, stickers, and other small commemorative items available. We just need to work out how much we can order to cover the initial cost.
Otsego Pride Alliance Logo

We were so lucky to have The Otsego Pride Alliance sponsor us last year. We are so grateful to them so help us offset the costs associated with holding this event. With us wanting to go bigger this year, we are hoping to have some more sponsors to help cover food, entertainment, and everything else that goes into throwing this event. This is all new to me, but I will be reaching out to some businesses and foundations. Our sponsors will have their logo added to the video slideshow that will be displayed on all of the big screens during the event. We will also add that information to the marketing for the event going forward.
